No. The diagnostic is the same whether you are in Woodbridge or the east end. What we will not do is quote you an arrival time we cannot hold, so you get a window when you book and a call before the technician heads over.
It is usually the better buy. The indoor coil sits in the furnace cabinet, so replacing one means opening up the other anyway. Doing both at once means the coil is matched to the condenser and the blower is matched to both, which is what actually determines whether the system runs quietly and efficiently.
Propane is expensive enough that a cold-climate heat pump often pays back far faster than it would on natural gas, with the propane furnace kept as backup for the coldest nights. We will price both paths and show you the operating cost difference rather than just the install cost.
Air sealing and return placement do more than a bigger furnace. Warm air collects at the top of the entry and stays there, so the fix is usually a high return or a rebalance to push supply into the rooms rather than the void.
