Megacity HVAC has repaired and installed furnaces across Toronto since 1999. From our base in East York, our TSSA-certified technicians reach every neighbourhood — Annex century homes, East York bungalows, Scarborough semis, Liberty Village builds — 24/7, including holidays, because a furnace failure in January cannot wait until Monday.
Our trucks carry the most common replacement parts — ignitors, flame sensors, pressure switches, blower motors, control boards — so most repairs finish on the first visit. For new systems we are an Authorized Lennox Dealer (and install Kepler, Carrier, and Rheem), every unit sized with a proper load calculation, with $0-down Enbridge Sustain financing available.
Real answer, day or night — no extra fees for evenings or weekends.
A fixed price before any work starts. You approve it first.
TSSA-certified, background-checked techs and full warranty support.
Top-rated on Google and HomeStars, serving Toronto since 1999.

Tell us what your furnace is doing. We dispatch a technician with the right parts for your likely issue.
Our tech inspects every component — thermostat, ignition, heat exchanger, blower, gas valve, safety controls.
We explain the issue and provide a fixed price. You approve before we start. No surprise charges.
We complete the repair, run the furnace through multiple cycles, verify safe operation, and clean up.
Most are solved same-day with parts we carry on our trucks.
Failed ignitor, faulty gas valve, tripped safety switch, or thermostat misconfiguration. We carry replacement parts for all brands and resolve most no-heat calls within an hour.
Furnace turns on and off repeatedly without completing a full heating cycle. Typically caused by a dirty flame sensor, clogged filter, or overheating from restricted airflow.
Banging, rattling, squealing, or humming from your furnace. Loose blower wheel, worn motor bearings, or expanding ductwork are common causes. Early repair prevents more expensive damage.
A furnace flame should be steady blue. Yellow, orange, or flickering flames indicate incomplete combustion and potential carbon monoxide production. This requires immediate professional inspection.
Your furnace runs but delivers cold air through the vents. Could be a failed heat exchanger, tripped limit switch, pilot light issue, or thermostat set to fan-only mode.
If your Enbridge bill spikes without a change in usage, your furnace efficiency is declining. A tune-up may help, but furnaces over 15 years old often benefit more from a high-efficiency replacement.
Authorized Lennox Dealer — and fully equipped to install, repair, and maintain every major HVAC brand sold in Ontario.

Standard gas furnaces are not covered by current rebate programs — but as a certified Enbridge Sustain Trusted Partner, we install a new high-efficiency furnace with nothing down on approved credit.
Furnace repairs in Toronto typically range from $150 to $500 depending on the issue. Simple repairs like flame sensor cleaning, thermocouple replacement, or ignitor swaps are at the lower end. More involved repairs such as blower motor replacement, control board repair, or inducer motor replacement fall at the higher end. We always diagnose the issue and provide an upfront price before any work begins — no surprises. For a new furnace installation, expect $3,500 to $6,500 depending on the efficiency rating and home size.
Yes. We offer around-the-clock emergency furnace repair across all of Toronto and the GTA. Whether it is 2 AM on a weeknight or a holiday weekend, call (416) 286-5665 and we will dispatch a TSSA-certified technician to your home. A furnace failure in a Toronto winter is a genuine emergency — pipes can freeze within hours when indoor temperatures drop — and we treat it with the urgency it requires. No extra diagnostic fees for evenings or weekends.
Consider replacement if your furnace is over 15 years old, needs frequent repairs (more than once per season), has a cracked heat exchanger, or if the repair cost exceeds 50% of a new furnace price. Rising gas bills despite normal usage also signal declining efficiency. A new 96% AFUE gas furnace costs $3,500 to $6,500 installed and can cut your Enbridge bill by 25-35% compared to an older 60-70% efficient unit. The Enbridge Sustain lease-to-own program also lets you get a new furnace with $0 down — maintenance and repairs included.
We serve all of Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. This includes Scarborough, North York, Etobicoke, East York, downtown Toronto, Midtown, the Beaches, High Park, Leslieville, Roncesvalles, Junction, Yorkville, and every neighbourhood in between. We also serve the wider GTA including Markham, Richmond Hill, Vaughan, Brampton, Mississauga, Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, and Oshawa. Our technicians are strategically located to reach you fast.
A furnace tune-up includes cleaning the burners and flame sensor, checking the heat exchanger for cracks, testing the ignition system, inspecting the blower motor and belt, verifying gas pressure, testing safety controls, replacing the air filter, and checking thermostat calibration. We recommend annual maintenance in early fall before heating season starts. A tune-up costs $120 to $180 and can catch small problems before they become expensive emergency repairs. Many furnace warranties also require annual professional maintenance to remain valid.
Most furnace repairs are completed in one to two hours once our technician arrives. Common fixes like ignitor replacement, flame sensor cleaning, or thermostat recalibration take 30 to 60 minutes. More involved repairs like blower motor or control board replacement take one to two hours. We carry the most common parts on every truck, so the majority of repairs are done on the first visit without needing to order parts or schedule a return trip.
Tell us what your furnace is doing and we will get back to you fast. Same-day service available across Toronto and the GTA — or call and talk to a real person now.
