Toronto Heating & Cooling
A Heating and Air Conditioning Company That Does Both Sides Properly
Plenty of Toronto contractors are strong on furnaces and thin on cooling, or the reverse. Because Megacity has run both sides of the trade since 1999, the same technicians who swap a furnace in January are recharging air conditioners in July — and they size each half of the system to work with the other.
That matters most in Toronto's housing stock: a Scarborough backsplit, an East York bungalow and a downtown semi all heat and cool differently. Installations start with a Manual J load calculation rather than a guess, and repair visits end with a working system, not an upsell.

Common Questions
Heating and Air Conditioning Toronto — FAQ
Do you handle both heating and air conditioning?
Yes. Megacity is a full heating and air conditioning company: we install, repair and maintain gas furnaces, central air conditioners, ducted and ductless heat pumps, and tank or tankless water heaters across Toronto and the GTA. One crew and one phone number cover the whole system.
What does a new heating and cooling system cost in Toronto?
A new gas furnace typically runs $3,500 to $6,500 installed depending on efficiency and home size, and a modern central AC runs about $3,500 to $6,000 installed. Exact pricing depends on the home, so we quote in writing after seeing it. Lease-to-own financing is available through Enbridge Sustain, and in-house rebates are available — ask at your quote.
Which areas of Toronto do you serve?
Our shop is at 885 O’Connor Dr in East York and we work across Toronto — Scarborough, North York, East York and Etobicoke — plus GTA cities including Markham, Vaughan, Mississauga and Whitby.
Can you look after an older system instead of replacing it?
Usually, yes. Many heating and cooling calls end in a repair, not a sales pitch: the technician diagnoses the fault, gives you a written repair price, and tells you honestly where the unit sits in its lifespan. Replacement only comes up when the math stops working in your favour.
Do you offer maintenance for heating and cooling equipment?
Yes. Annual furnace tune-ups run $120 to $180, AC maintenance keeps cooling efficiency up through summer, and our maintenance plans bundle both. Regular service is also a condition of many manufacturer warranties.
